Bulk annotations
Mixed-size cases need the ratio sheet first. Volumetric weight is calculated from box dimensions, so compression on soft goods changes the bill directly.
Single-size cases press harder than mixed. Removing retail boxes saves volume and usually weight, but not for items where the box is part of the value.
Off-season cases are where margin lives. Dense and bulky items should be split: mixing them makes the light items pay the bulky item's air.
